So far, second trimester has been great. I’ve been feeling crappy (like really bad allergies) once or twice a week. I think I’ve figured out why, though. Anytime I have popcorn, the next day my whole head hurts and I’m stuffed up. We’ve been having popcorn more often the past month. Apparently I’m allergic to corn, but I never really noticed symptoms like this before.
Our last antenatal appointment was on August 1, and our next one is on September 5. We may be able to find out the sex at this next appointment (I’ll be 19 weeks along). We really like our antenatal care, though it’s very expensive. And it’s in pounds, to boot!
We went to the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum last Sunday. We had a lot of fun. I found Bon Bons in the candy shop! They were tasty and didn’t last long.
Chris and I signed up for the Warrior Dash. It’s the end of July. I just hope I’ll be ready by then. It will be only six months after baby To-be-named-later is due.
That'll be a great goal (Warrior Dash) for you to obtain. And I think you can do it!They say 6 weeks of recovery after the baby is born and then generally you can start exercising again. Good luck! P.s. can't wait to find out your baby's gender!
